Nightfire Organics gathers electric chartreuse, icy blue, molten orange and violet forms into a dense, painterly field, with black contours threading through the fluid shapes from the scoop neckline to the hem; the same nocturnal color continues across the bodice and flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a close, rounded neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh skirt that moves out from the body. Its smooth, elastic polyester fabric follows the shape without losing the artwork’s rhythm. Worn, it reads like a shifting field of color in motion.
