Kohn's Whirl is a collision of charcoal, steel blue, smoky gray, ember red, orange and gold, its brushlike marks sweeping diagonally across the waistband, hips and long, close-fitting legs. The yoga leggings have a clean, streamlined silhouette and a smooth microfiber yarn with four-way stretch, so the artwork bends with the body rather than breaking into separate fields. A raised waistband gives the shape a considered finish. Against black or gray, the flashes of orange and gold read like sparks moving through liquid metal.
