Wildline Garden fills the shoes with black, ink-like leaves, curling pods, skeletal vines and organic fragments, their engraved lines threading over the toes, sides and heel in a dense monochrome field. The women’s slip-on canvas shoes have a low, streamlined shape with elastic side accents and a white EVA rubber outsole. A breathable lining, soft removable insole and padded collar and tongue keep the inside considered, while the white sole gives the artwork a clean edge. Together, they read like small ink studies moving with every step.
