Wild Chromatic is a riot of liquid color: cobalt and violet currents twist through orange, lime and turquoise cells, with glossy dark contours giving the painterly field its sense of motion. On the board shorts, larger green and blue forms gather near the waistband and lower legs while smaller curls and luminous circles fill the space between. The silhouette is relaxed, with a drawcord waistband, side pockets and a rear flap pocket. Polyester with spandex gives the fabric stretch, and the quick-drying material suits time between water and sand. The result is a vivid tide of color from waist to hem.
