Vivid Whirl sends electric cobalt, ultraviolet, hot pink, cyan and acid yellow through dense, black-contoured ribbons that curl from the elastic waistband to the hem in a continuous psychedelic flow. The smooth skater skirt flares gently from the waist to a mid-thigh length, giving the swirling pattern room to move while keeping the shape neat. Elastane brings stretch to the fabric, and the elastic waistband sits cleanly without interrupting the artwork. In motion, its bright color trails seem to twist around the legs like a small current of light.
