Vivid Overgrowth is a dense botanical abstraction of electric turquoise leaves, orange petals, acid-lime stems and violet marks, outlined in black so the forms seem to surge across the skirt from waistband to hem. The skater skirt has a smooth fabric, a mid-thigh length and a flared silhouette that gives the artwork room to move. Its elastic waistband keeps the shape easy to wear, while the coverstitch hemline gives the short sweep a clean finish. Against the dark ground, each step opens another flash of color.
