Verdant Baroque is a dense arabesque of acanthus leaves and curling tendrils, its sage and forest greens threaded with antique gold, blush terracotta and muted cream against a near-black burgundy ground. The foliage repeats in vertical sweeps, with scrolling leaves continuing cleanly from the high waist through the close-fitting shape to the curved hem. The pencil skirt is mid-waisted and cut close to the body in soft polyester with spandex for stretch. Its dark botanical surface brings the atmosphere of old wallpaper to a clean, evening-ready line.
