Velvet Vortex sends saffron, mint, seafoam, cobalt and violet ribbons curling through a deep black ground, their fine contour lines and brushlike swirls flowing down the legs and gathering in denser loops near the hems. The men's board shorts have a relaxed, straight silhouette in polyester with spandex, a quick-drying fabric and an adjustable drawcord waistband. Side pockets sit at the hips, while the rear pocket closes with a flap. Against the dark spaces, the pale green and orange curls give the shorts the rhythm of moving water.
