Velvet Labyrinth opens on a black ground, where interwoven ribbons and petal-like shapes in butter yellow, ivory, blush pink, lavender, coral and icy blue wind across the crown and brim in a dense, painterly swirl. The reversible bucket hat has a softly rounded crown and sloping brim, giving the artwork a relaxed frame around the face.
