Ultramarine Carnival sets a deep ultramarine ground with a dense drift of glossy amber, citron, orange, coral, violet, mint and icy-blue pebble shapes, their fluid black outlines giving the pattern a liquid, psychedelic rhythm. On the skater dress, the color runs from front to back and across the sleeves, while the sleeveless shape leaves the artwork uninterrupted through the bodice and flared mid-thigh skirt. Smooth, elastic fabric follows the body without losing its swing; an elastic waistline defines the shape. It moves like a spill of colored glass when you turn.
