Turquoise Riot begins in a tangle of electric turquoise foliage, its sweeping forms broken by violet ground, molten orange and yellow ribbons, and sharp black-and-white contours. The composition travels continuously across the skirt, with the larger leaf-like motifs rising through the front and the brighter ribbons gathering near the waist and hem. The skater skirt has a mid-thigh length, a softly flared silhouette and smooth polyester-elastane fabric. An elastic waistband keeps the fit easy, while the coverstitch hem gives the swinging edge a neat finish. It moves like a small burst of summer color.
