Tidal Shells gathers soft gray-beige sand, white foam and cream shells into horizontal, water-like bands, with fine seaweed strands and small shell forms drifting across the bodice, waist and flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a rounded neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh skirt that opens into gentle folds. Its smooth, elastic polyester fabric follows the body before releasing at the hips, while the coverstitch hem keeps the edge neat. The result is a little shoreline in motion, from neckline to hem.
