Tidal Shell Parade fills the tote with orange-and-gold sea turtles, their black-outlined, segmented shells overlapping in a lively drift across fine horizontal turquoise waves. Some turtles turn sideways, while others face upward or down, giving the surface a sense of constant motion. The large tote bag has a simple open silhouette, comfortable cotton webbing handles and a large inside pocket. Polyester gives the artwork a smooth, clean surface, while the broad shape leaves plenty of room for a day by the water. Carried by its dark handles, it looks like a small tide in motion.
