Thornfruit Canopy is a dense field of spherical, needle-covered pods, shifting through olive, moss, chartreuse, ochre and warm brown as the pattern fills the tote. The repeated forms sit close together, like a woodland floor in late autumn, with rounded seed heads breaking up the sharper silhouettes. The large tote has a simple open shape, black cotton webbing handles and a large inside pocket; it is made from polyester. The artwork gives the bag the presence of a gathered botanical specimen, ready for a day by the water or beyond it.
