Swirling Stories turns black-and-white ink into a restless field of concentric rings, granular marks and curling ribbons. The motifs drift in horizontal currents across the board shorts, with large circular forms gathering through the front and smaller whorls filling the waistband, sides and lower legs. The silhouette is relaxed and straight, with an adjustable drawcord waistband, side pockets and a rear flap pocket. Polyester with spandex gives the fabric a smooth, flexible hand, while its quick-drying finish suits time by the water. In monochrome, the shorts move like a small tide of ink.
