Supernova Silk sends luminous lime, lavender, coral and gold ribbons on diagonal paths across a violet-black field, their feathered edges threaded with tiny star-like flecks. On the crew socks, the sweeping bands continue from the ribbed leg to the toe and heel, so each step catches a different current of color. The soft polyester-and-spandex knit has a stretchy feel, while the ribbed leg keeps the shape close and the cushioned soles add substance underfoot.
