Solar Relics maps a small universe onto the case: amber, saffron and ember-orange orbs hover across the deep charcoal-olive field, with painterly halos and fine star-like flecks gathering around them. A large yellow orb sits low on the left, while smaller molten forms drift around the camera opening and the circular MagSafe ring, giving the surface a sense of orbit. The case has a matte or gloss finish, a polycarbonate outer shell and a thermoplastic polyurethane inner liner, with precisely aligned port openings. It brings a pocket-sized glow to an otherwise dark object.
