Sepia Tangle begins with an ivory ground crossed by sepia-brown bands: looping, finely etched lines knot across the front into crossings, curved tunnels and small pockets of negative space, giving the pattern a restless, archival rhythm. The one-piece swimsuit has a scoop neckline, low scoop back and cheeky fit, with the artwork continuing across the visible straps and body. Its smooth four-way-stretch fabric contains elastane, while the front is double-layered and the seams use zig-zag stitching. It has the graphic intensity of an old ink drawing, recast for the water.
