The marks gather tightly at the waistband, then scatter down the front and around the flare, so each fold catches a different flash of color. The skater skirt has a smooth fabric, a mid-thigh hem and an elastic waistband, with overlock seams and a coverstitch hemline. Its soft, flexible feel and easy flare give the nocturnal artwork room to move, like city light breaking across dark glass.
