Quantum Illusions begins in charcoal-black space, where smoky blue, rust, molten amber and electric-gold currents sweep horizontally through the bodice and fall in long, luminous arcs across the skirt. Small glowing orbs and halo rings punctuate the marbled surface, with fine painterly threads adding movement between them. The sleeveless skater dress has a rounded neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh flared skirt. Its smooth, elastic polyester fabric follows the body before opening into soft folds, giving the artwork room to move as you do.
