Psychedelic Waves begins in electric green, cobalt blue, hot magenta, scarlet orange and acid yellow, pulled into fluid ribbons and tight whirlpools by dense black contour lines. A blue-and-purple spiral settles at the right waist, while red and orange forms drift through the bodice and the skirt breaks into smaller looping shapes. The sleeveless skater dress has a scoop neckline, an elastic waist and a mid-thigh flared skirt. Its smooth, elastic fabric follows the body before opening into movement, like a painted current gathered at the waist and released below.
