Psychedelic Undertow begins with liquid ribbons in acid yellow, emerald, cyan, hot pink, orange and violet, their fine white tracery curling through a midnight-blue ground. On the board shorts, the color gathers in vertical, flame-like currents across the legs, with tighter spirals surfacing between them and brighter yellow-green forms running down the outer sides. The silhouette is an easy, straight-legged short in polyester and spandex, with side pockets, a flap-covered rear pocket and a white drawcord at the adjustable waistband. It looks made for a day that ends somewhere louder than the beach.
