Pomegranate Trellis begins with looping ochre, olive and russet vines, their tendrils winding through coral-red flowers, clustered berries and hand-rendered leaves on a softly weathered blue-green ground. The motifs continue over the sleeveless bodice and flared skirt, where a large flower and curling stems gather around the waist before opening out toward the hem. The skater dress has a smooth, elastic fabric, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh-length skirt. Its rounded neckline keeps the ornate garden pattern poised, while the flare lets the vines drift as you move.
