Piranesi's Web builds a city from charcoal, graphite, ivory and silver: ribbed structures, fractured grids and slashing lines crowd the leg, while the illustrated figure curves down the front and reappears across the back. The crew socks have a close, straightforward silhouette in stretchy polyester, with a soft ribbed leg and cushioned soles. Black cuffs, toes and heels give the intricate artwork a firm border. Worn with cropped trousers or revealed beneath a longer hem, they bring a moving fragment of urban geometry to the ankle.
