Piranesi's Web layers charcoal, graphite, ivory and silver into a dense field of facades, ribbed structures and broken grids. Angular towers run down the legs, while broad striped forms and an illustrated figure gather along the outer side, giving the monochrome artwork a sense of movement. The men's board shorts have a relaxed knee-length silhouette in polyester and spandex, with an adjustable drawcord waistband, side pockets and a flap-covered rear pocket. Against the intricate dark ground, the white cord makes a crisp interruption, like a line of light through the city.
