Painterly Void maps cobalt, teal, ember orange, scarlet, and ultraviolet strokes over a dark, star-flecked field, with small ringed forms and shadowy, creature-like shapes appearing among the color. The pattern runs down the crew socks in shifting bands of luminous motion, from the ribbed leg to the toe, with the dark soles interrupting the view. Polyester and spandex give them a soft, stretchy feel; the leg is ribbed and the soles cushioned. They bring a little cosmic weather to the space between trouser hem and shoe.
