The pattern continues over the sleeveless bodice and into the mid-thigh skirt, where the swirls gather and break as the hem flares. The skater dress has a smooth, elastic fabric, a softly scooped neckline and an elastic waistline that defines the shape without interrupting the artwork. It moves like a small tide of color, vivid from shoulder to hem.
