Painted Lightning is a field of cobalt and violet strokes, broken into diagonal sweeps by acid yellow, emerald green, hot pink, orange and ink-black marks. The brushwork surges down the rounded front and over the top and sides, with denser flashes gathering toward the lower half. The minimalist backpack has a softly structured silhouette in polyester, with a water-resistant exterior and a soft mesh back. Inside, a large pocket includes a separate space for a 15-inch laptop; the back holds a hidden zipped pocket. Against a dark outfit, it reads like a moving patch of color.
