Origami Aviary sends angular cranes in turquoise, cobalt, coral, blush pink, ivory and molten orange across a deep chocolate-brown ground. The flock gathers densely over the bodice and skirt, with larger turquoise and pink birds punctuating the waist and lower half as the pattern shifts through the flare. The sleeveless skater dress has a close-fitting top, elastic waistline and mid-thigh skirt that opens gently from the hips. Its smooth, elastic fabric follows the body without losing its shape; the coverstitch hemline keeps the edge neat. It moves like a bright flock in motion.
