Opal Uprising begins in electric orange, then folds into glossy curls of cobalt, violet, mint, bronze and black. The motifs run continuously over the shorts, with rounded jewel-like forms clustering across the front and larger swirls gathering near the right leg; painterly highlights give the surface a molten sense of movement. The board shorts have a relaxed, straight silhouette in polyester with spandex, an adjustable drawcord waistband and side pockets on both sides. A rear pocket with a flap adds useful detail, while the vivid pattern turns a beach staple into a moving field of color.
