Olive Oddities is a dense olive-green maze of wide eyes, crooked grins and looping tentacles, all picked out in sketchbook-black lines. The creatures press across the scoop neckline, bodice and skirt in a continuous field, gathering into especially busy clusters through the center while the flare lets the forms shift as the dress moves. It is a sleeveless skater dress with a close upper shape, elastic waistline and mid-thigh skirt. Smooth, elastic fabric follows the body before releasing into the hem; overlock seams and a coverstitch hemline finish the construction. It wears like a small, moving menagerie.
