Ochre Glyph moves in horizontal bands of mustard ochre and deep charcoal-black, placing crosses, stepped borders, diamonds and peaked forms around the mid waist, hips and hem. The tactile, softly distressed surface gives the geometry an aged, woven character, while the repeated bands keep the pattern in motion around the close-fitting pencil skirt. Cut with a mid waist, it is made from polyester with spandex for stretch and has a soft handle. The skirt’s narrow silhouette lets the pattern settle into a measured column, like a fragment of folk textile drawn into city dressing.
