Obsidian Flame begins with molten amber, ochre and burnished-gold lines, tightly coiled over an inky black ground. The fine marbled texture shifts between elongated waves and smaller whorls, running continuously across the scoop-necked front and close-fitting body, with the same dense movement continuing over the straps, back and sleeves. The bodycon dress is made from smooth microfiber yarn with four-way stretch, and its fitted shape follows the waist before narrowing through the knee-length skirt. Against the dark ground, the gold lines flicker like fire seen after dusk.
