Noir Versailles sets antique-gold acanthus scrolls and small crimson rosettes against black in a tightly mirrored damask, with the pattern running from the ribbed leg down over the foot and leaving the toe, heel and cuff in solid black. These crew socks have a close, flexible silhouette in polyester and spandex, with a soft ribbed leg and cushioned soles. The result is a dark baroque flourish that appears at the ankle, then follows the line of a trouser hem or opens out beneath a cropped length.
