Neon Marbles sends turquoise, cyan, violet, fuchsia and golden-yellow ribbons through the dress in liquid, painterly swirls: the upper bodice gathers darker purple currents around the neckline, while brighter waves fan across the waist and skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a close-fitting top, elastic waistline and a mid-thigh flared skirt that gives the color room to move. Its smooth, elastic fabric follows the body without losing the skirt’s swing. From the front, it reads like a bright whirlpool held briefly in shape.
