Nebula Fusions begins in a deep black scattered with tiny stars, then breaks into electric violet, cyan, emerald and hot magenta: liquid ribbons and sharp, metallic-looking contours sweep across the skirt, with dense machinery-like forms gathering from the waistband to the hem. The smooth polyester-and-elastane fabric falls into a mid-thigh skater silhouette, flaring cleanly from the elastic waist. Its coverstitched hem keeps the edge neat as the colors shift with the movement of the skirt, like a small piece of nightlife in motion.
