Mossfire begins in liquid shadows: olive-lime coils, rounded shell-like forms and painterly strokes churn across the black ground, with brighter spirals surfacing through the close-packed pattern. The same restless field follows the sleeveless bodice into the mid-thigh skirt, where it opens into a soft flare. Made from smooth, elastic fabric, the skater dress has an elastic waistline and a coverstitch hemline. Its rounded neckline keeps the dense artwork clear at the top, while the moving motifs give the skirt a sense of motion as it swings.
