Mosaic Reverie layers deep cobalt, terracotta and warm ivory into a dense field of rosettes, arabesques, starbursts and angular fragments, with chalky cracks and smoky abrasion giving the pattern the feel of aged Mediterranean tile. The continuous design travels across the sleeveless bodice and flared skirt, where the smaller motifs gather into a richly varied surface. The skater dress has a smooth, elastic fabric, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh hem. It moves from a close-fitting top into a softly swinging skirt, like a fragment of old architecture in motion.
