Molten Agate begins with creamy ivory veins dividing rounded amber, ochre, smoky gray, espresso and lacquered-black forms, like polished stone seen in cross-section. The pattern travels continuously across the sleeveless bodice and flared skirt, with smaller mineral shapes gathering around the waist and larger marbled contours opening toward the hem. The skater dress has a scoop neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh skirt in smooth, elastic polyester. Its gentle flare gives the dense artwork room to shift as you move, like a gallery wall set briefly in motion.
