Mineral Maelstrom gathers shell-like spirals, liquid ribbons and organic fragments into a dense field of charcoal, ochre, copper, icy blue and acid-lime. The rounded forms and ink-dark contours seem to pull the eye sideways, while glossy highlights give the surface a sense of motion; larger blue, green and copper spirals punctuate the front. The pencil skirt sits at the mid waist and follows the body closely, with a soft polyester-and-spandex feel and white thread at the seams. Its narrow silhouette lets the swirling field hold the whole frame.
