Midnight Spirals turns the board shorts into a field of tightly packed rings: cobalt and black dominate, while ivory and antique gold pick out the concentric forms, with larger spirals gathering across the front and smaller ones filling the legs and waistband. The cut is straight and easy, with a drawcord waistband, side pockets and a rear pocket with a flap. Polyester with spandex gives the fabric a little stretch, and its quick-drying finish suits time in and around the water. The white cord adds a clean interruption to the otherwise cosmic surface.
