Midnight Rehearsal sets black-lined saxophones and clarinets against a luminous white ground, with cobalt blue, red, yellow and gray brushstrokes threading between them. On the legs, the instruments run vertically from hip to ankle, while bells, keys and loose fragments break across the front and sides in a lively, hand-painted rhythm.
