Midnight Acanthus is a dense baroque tracery of acanthus leaves and curling arabesques, its champagne, antique-gold and ivory forms winding across the black upper from toe to collar and continuing around the heel. The high top canvas shoes have a clean, upright shape with a lace-up front, padded collar and faux leather toe cap. A breathable lining, soft insole and EVA rubber outsole keep the construction considered, while the white sole gives the dark pattern a crisp boundary. Worn with cropped denim, they bring a little gilded theater to an otherwise quiet look.
