Martian Gridlock is a dense slate-blue field of irregular cellular forms, crossed by fine coral, apricot, saffron and lavender lines that ripple across the front, back and short sleeves. The hand-drawn texture gives the surface a mineral-like movement, while the relaxed pajama top keeps the pattern easy to wear, with a notched collar, short sleeves and a row of white buttons. Its silky-feel polyester fabric falls lightly against the body. Worn with the matching bottoms or separate from them, it has the air of an abstract shirt made for slow mornings and late summer evenings.
