Maple Inferno is a dense fall canopy of scarlet, ember-orange, golden yellow and russet leaves, their fine stems and veining threading across the front and rounded top in a continuous, richly layered field; a few larger leaves give the back its rhythm. The minimalist backpack has a clean, gently rounded silhouette in water-resistant polyester, with a silky lining, soft mesh back and padded ergonomic straps. Inside, a large pocket includes a separate laptop sleeve, while a zipped pocket hides on the back. It carries its woodland blaze like a portable patch of late October.
