Luminous Fragments begins with a vivid tangerine ground, crossed by ink-dark indigo and flashes of electric violet, turquoise, lime and hot coral. The biomorphic shapes ripple from front to back and continue down the sleeves, giving the surface a glossy, molten sense of motion. The sleeveless skater dress has a fitted upper shape, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh flared skirt. Its smooth, elastic fabric keeps the silhouette fluid, while the coverstitch hemline gives the skirt a clean finish. In motion, the color seems to flare with it.
