Liquid Ember begins in electric cobalt, crowded with molten orange, turquoise, emerald and aqua shapes traced in dark, fluid strokes. Rounded forms and liquid flecks sweep across the bodice and gather through the flared skirt, so the artwork keeps moving as the dress does. The sleeveless skater dress has a scoop neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh hem, with smooth, elastic polyester that follows the body before opening into a light flare. It moves like a small current of color with every step.
