Ivory Static begins in a charcoal-black ground, where ivory lines cross in loose, tensile strands: fractured geometry and tangled fibers sweep over the bodice, gather into a small circular motif at the waist, then continue through the flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a softly scooped neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh hem. Its smooth, elastic polyester fabric follows the body before opening into movement below the waist. Worn with simple shoes, the monochrome pattern makes each step look like another strand has come alive.
