Ivory Ossuary gathers creamy bone-toned forms, skeletal fragments and fine, distressed marks into a near-black field. The motifs twist and recur down each sock, shifting between open areas of ground, dense ornament and sharp, ink-like contours; black cuffs and soles frame the composition. These are crew socks with a soft ribbed leg, made from polyester with spandex for stretch. Cushioned soles sit beneath the foot, while the close, flexible shape keeps the artwork in motion as you walk. A dark flourish glimpsed above a shoe, then gone again.
