Hypercolor Waves turns the board shorts into a field of orange, cyan, violet, pink and electric yellow currents, their black contours curling into loops, hooked strokes and rounded forms from waistband to hem. The motifs shift across the front and wrap around the sides, so the pattern keeps moving as the shorts do. The silhouette is relaxed, with a drawcord waistband, two side pockets and a flap pocket at the rear. Polyester with spandex gives the fabric a little stretch, while the quick-drying finish suits time between water and sand. The result is color in constant motion.
